Boosting Youth to be Better Christians

 This originally began as backyard Bible Club. A Backyard Bible Club is simply a new twist on an old idea; namely, a new twist on a traditional Vacation Bible School program.  

BYBC began as a summer outreach in the Summer of 2022. We met every Saturday in July to learn about God while having a fun and educational experience. The theme was Lava Lava Luau where we learned that God can help us control our emotions. In 2023, our theme was Submerged: Finding the Truth Below the Surface. As kids submerged themselves in God's Word, they discovered that Jesus saw people differently. He didn't just see what's on the outside; He saw who people were down deep. In 2024, our theme was Mission Possible where we learned God has given us each a mission- to tell the world about Jesus! Although it is a big job that may seem impossible at times - with God leading us our mission will not fail. In 2025, our theme was Camp Chaos where we learned that God is above the chaos - the chaos may surround us but doesn't have to get inside of us.

In 2025, our beloved BYBC rebranded from "Backyard Bible Club" to "Boosting Youth to Be Better Christians!" This change reflects our expanded vision to go beyond just a summer outreach, offering continuous growth and fun throughout the year.  

We're thrilled that now BYBC will meet on the last Saturday of every month. We'll announce the specific time each month to accommodate the activity planned.

This isn't just a summer VBS anymore; it's a year-round movement dedicated to boosting our youth to be better Christians, growing in faith, applying the Bible, and spreading God's light. Stay tuned for our next exciting gathering!
